1. How do you create the effect on pages 4 through 7 of Eternity Dreams?
Ehh.... most people are going to hate me when I say this but it's really so simple and quick I'm ashamed to admit I do it. Basically you find/create a texture such as old notebook paper or old newspaper etc. You scan it in at a high resolution, (600 at the least the higher you are the larger the file size.) then in your photo editing program (I use Corel Painter and Photoshop CS5 at school) place your texture on the image below your artwork/color work. Then go to your layer that has the color etc on it and hit "Multiply". Yep that's it. Totally easy and makes i look like the ink saturated into the paper years ago. Take it a step further and take some spongy brushes and erase out area's to make it look older! Tweet
